Returns Policy

By purchasing from Adrenaline Truck Performance (hereinafter referred to as ATP or ATPTrucks) you agree to our returns policy, terms, and conditions.

Most new, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full or partial refund at the full discretion of ATP. Most items will require a restocking fee depending on the reason for the return.

Restocking Fees

  • 10% - Items returned within 30 days of invoice date in new condition
  • 25% - Items returned within 60 days of invoice date in new condition – Special circumstances only
  • 50% - Items that are opened, damaged, missing parts, or that have been installed or attempted to be installed may only be returned under special circumstances and only within 60 days of invoice date.
  • Gift certificates are non-refundable

There are no returns on any product after 60 days from date of invoice.

If there is a defect with the item it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the manufacturer.

ATPTrucks is not responsible for labor costs, or damages incurred for installation of products or software. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify that all product received from ATPTrucks is correct before attempting to install.

To Return an Item:

Call us at 208-685-1000. Written authorization must be given before an item can be returned. An ATPTrucks representative will email you an RMA form. You must include this form with your return. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the box.

If the reason for return is not valid, the item is not as described, or the returned items are not in re-saleable condition, no credit will be issued. The returned item(s) will be held for 14 days to resolve the issue. If after 14 days there is no contact from the customer the item is forfeited to ATP.

Non-defective products will only be accepted in resalable condition with all original packaging.

If an item is returned, and determined by ATP to not be defective, standard restocking fees apply.

Special orders or discontinued items are not eligible for return. There may also be other items ATP will not allow customers to return, at ATP’s discretion.

After a refund has been approved customers should expect to receive refunds within four weeks of return shipment pickup date; however in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for ATP to receive returns from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process returns once we receive them (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes customer’s bank to process refund requests (up to 1 billing cycle).

If you need to return an item, simply give us a call at 208-685-1000. We will work to expedite the process and inform you of any requirements that need to be considered.

Special orders, clearance/final sale items, and discontinued items are not eligible for return. There may also be other items ATPTrucks will not allow customers to return, at ATPTrucks’ discretion. 

Back Order and Substitutions:

Out of stock items will automatically be added to the backorder list. Customers will be notified by a phone call or via email with the estimated ship date. Dates given are estimated and are subject to change without notice. The rest of the order will ship unless otherwise requested.

Substitutions may be available for backordered or discontinued items. Substitutions will not be shipped without customer’s approval.

ATPTrucks assumes no responsibility for stock shortages or manufacturer discontinuations.

Cancellations:

Orders can only be cancelled if they have not shipped. Cancellation requests need to be received and approved by an authorized ATP representative.

ATPTrucks Tuning Return Policy:

ATP and our dealers will go to great lengths to ensure that our customers are satisfied with ATP products and tuning. If for some reason no solution can be found to any issue regarding a FlashScan/AutoCal and a customer’s vehicle, ATP will refund the purchase price of the FlashScan/AutoCal hardware. In addition to the general returns policy the following applies to all tuning related products.

  • Tuning - Tuning orders cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Once a tune is sent there is no way for ATP to ensure it is not in use. This policy covers all tuning options including but not limited to: EFILive, Smarty, RaceMe, MCC. Etc.
  • FlashScan V2 - A FlashScan V2 unit bought without tuning, with no licenses used, and in the original packaging may be returned for a full refund within 30 days. If a VIN license has been used the item is not eligible for return.
  • FlashScan V2 Packages - Tuning for a V2 package once sent is not refundable. The FlashScan V2 can be returned within 30 days for a full refund if no licenses have been used. If a VIN license has been used the item is not eligible for return.
  • AutoCal - AutoCal units bought without tuning, with no licenses used can be returned for a full refund. If a VIN license has been used the item is not eligible for return.
  • AutoCal Package - If the VIN license has not been used on the AutoCal unit ATP will issue 90% of the purchase price. The 10% retained by ATP is for the labor costs of building the tunes. If a VIN license has been used the item is not eligible for return.
  • VIN Licenses - VIN Licenses are not refundable once ordered under any circumstances. VIN licenses are a software code and cannot be returned.
  • V2 Software Upgrades – V2 software upgrades are not returnable once ordered. If you buy an additional VIN license and load it onto an AutoCal or FlashScan V2 the hardware is refundable but the VIN license is not.
  • Smarty Dongles - There are no returns on Main or VIN dongles.

Returns & Shipping Charges:

Shipping charges are not refundable unless an error was made by a representative of ATP. ATP will not refund shipping for an error by the carrier.

Return shipping will be the responsibility of you the customer unless an error occurred which is the responsibility of ATP or one of our suppliers. ATP will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (e.g. Customer received an incorrect or defective item, etc.)

Defective merchandise must be returned via standard ground in order to be credited.

Replacement product for returned items will include full shipping charges.

Items Damaged in Transit– Orders must be inspected for shipping damage prior to acceptance of the shipment. Please save all packaging – it must be available for inspection by the carrier. Items damaged in transit must be reported to ATP within 3 business days of delivery. Photos must be emailed to contactatp@atptrucks.com along with your name, invoice/sales receipt number, and your contact information.

No damage claims will be accepted for any reason after 10 days of receipt of goods.

Lost Packages– For any packages lost by the carrier the customer MUST contact ATP about the issue. A representative of ATPTrucks will contact the carrier and open an investigation. Investigations can take anywhere from eight days to one month. ATP will stay in contact until the issue is resolved.

Shipping Policy:

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of the items and the shipping options you selected. Depending on the shipping provider chosen, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are dimensional-based and weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

All shipments outside of the lower 48 of the United States are subject to additional shipping costs not reflected in the shipping price at check-out. Some examples include shipments to Canada and other international locations that are subject to customs duties, varying tax rates, and customs brokerage fees, or shipments to Alaska and Hawaii. Customers may receive additional charges to cover these fees, duties, and taxes after the initial purchase. For international shipments, customers will be responsible for all duties, taxes, and broker fees. These charges may be billed to you after the order has shipped and by someone other than ATP. If the customer does not pay the brokerage fees, duties, and taxes, you will be billed these charges by ATP.

All shipments are subject to carrier regulations. Our orders are shipped via UPS, with the exception of a few small items sent USPS. Items in stock usually ship within 1-2 business days. Some orders will take longer depending on availability. We cannot guarantee on-time delivery for special order products or out of stock items. All delivery dates given are approximate and subject to change without warning or notification. Express orders (UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2 Day Air, etc.) are guaranteed to be delivered on time with a few exceptions. These exceptions include, but are not limited to, carrier error, weather, etc. ATP is not responsible for delays from the carrier.

Shipping and handling charges are the customer’s responsibility. This includes refusals and returns. Any additional shipping surcharges that are applied after the order has been shipped will be billed to the customer.

UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Shipping and handling charges are not refundable except for defective items.

EFILive Warranty Policy:

ATPTrucks abides by EFILive’s warranty policy. Their policy can be viewed at http://www.efilive.com/warranty-policy. If you feel your EFILive product is defective please contact us by phone (208-685-1000) or via email at contactatp@atptrucks.com.

Hard Parts Warranty Policy:

ATPTrucks abides by the all manufacturer warranty policies. To find out what that policy is you must contact the manufacturer of the product in question directly. In most cases it is up to the manufacturer to determine if a product is eligible for repair or replacement.
